When it comes to choosing a workbench, you are spoilt for choice. With so many options and models to choose from, it can be hard to make your mind. For example, when considering different workbenches, you will come across a wide range of weight load capacities. The option you choose will depend on the load you will handle.

Super Heavy Duty Workbenches

A super heavy-duty workbench is the most robust option. Typically made of 50x50x5mm mild steel angle and fully welded, these workbenches boast a weight load capacity of up to 1500kg UDL (Uniform Distributed Load).   

Available in a wide range of sizes, super heavy-duty workbenches can withstand all types of heavy-duty machines and tools that you use on a regular basis. You can complete your daily tasks safely and securely. 

These workbenches are ideal for fabricators, furniture, print, glass, and aerospace manufacturers. 

Heavy Duty Workbenches

A heavy-duty workbench can handle a UDL of up to 1000kg. Available in standard lengths of 1.2mtr, 1.5mtr, and 2mtr, heavy-duty workbenches are available in 3 depths namely, 600mm, 750mm, and 950mm. Available in a standard height of 840mm, these workbenches can be customised to your specifications.

These workbenches are perfect for tough use in the engineering and manufacturing industries.

Medium Duty Workbenches

Medium duty workbenches offer a load capacity of up to 500kg UDL. These are typically available in a wide range of top options including laminate, anti-static, MDF and galvanised steel top. 

A medium-duty workbench is suited for home workshops, packing, education, laboratories and warehouses. Depending on the features you use, your medium-duty workbench could be used for assembly work and electrical testing or even as a sturdy workstation.

Mobile Workbenches

Portable workbenches are extremely flexible in positioning and use. They can be used as a fully mobile workbench or as a static workbench at the press of a handle on the side of the workbench. 

A mobile workbench is mounted on 4 casters that boast a carrying capacity of 450kg. But when stationed, this workbench offers a load capacity of 1000kg UDL.
